The Eugene airport is 45-minute easy and relaxing drive through the Valley countryside. This airport is easy access but flights may be slightly more expensive, and the number of carriers limited to Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, and United. Flights into Eugene generally connect through Denver, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City.
Ground transportation - EUG
PDX is approximately a 2-hour drive from Corvallis in non-rush hour traffic on Interstate 5. If you are lucky, your flight descending into Portland will give you a bird’s eye view of Mt. Hood or a spectacular view of many of the Cascade Mountain Range peaks, including Mt. Raineer and Mt. St. Helens, to the north.
Ground transportation - PDX
OSU offers a free campus shuttle service for the convenience of students, staff and visitors. There are two buses operating continuous trips throughout campus Riders may flag the Shuttle for pickup along the way. The Hilton Garden Inn will have currently route maps and information for pick up near the hotel and drop off at the conference site, the Memorial Union (MU).
Corvallis Pedicab is a new local business offering human-powered transportation in and around Corvallis. The service operates much like a traditional taxi and is available on-demand or by reservation.
